STN: Siemens Ltd. has won a major contract from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) for the telecommunication systems package of the Kochi Metro Pink Line project. This contract will support the Phase-II expansion of Kochi Metro and help improve public transport connectivity in the city.

The contract is worth around ₹91.65 crore. Siemens secured the deal after emerging as the lowest bidder in the tender process. L&T Technology Services Ltd. was the other bidder for this package.
