Recent Progress on Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project is moving forward steadily.
Work began recently on casting the first concrete slab at the Virar station. This marks a key step in construction for the corridor in Maharashtra.
In addition, the first Shinkansen train for the project has started its trial phase in Japan. This train will later be used on the Indian route after tests are completed.
Project Overview
The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train is a high-speed rail line under construction between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The total route covers a distance of 508 kilometers.
