DMRC Awards ₹192 Cr Train Operations Contract

STN:The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the awarding of a contract for train operation services on the Yellow Line (Kashmere Gate Crew Control and Qutub Minar Crew Control) and Violet Line (Badarpur Border Crew Control) of the Delhi Metro Network. The technical bid for this train operations contract was opened on March 22, 2024, at 3:39 PM, and the financial bid followed on June 20, 2024, at 1:21 PM. The final evaluation took place on the same day at 10:26 AM.

The contract was awarded on August 9, 2024, with a completion timeline of 2,310 days. The total estimated value of this train operations contract is ₹192 crore.

Five bidders participated, with JMD Consultants securing the train operations contract for the Yellow Line at ₹96.2 crore. Nuvision Commercial and Escort Services (NCES) securing the contract for the Violet Line, also at ₹96.2 crore. The remaining bidders were disqualified in the technical evaluation.
