STN: The civil construction contract AGCC-07 of the Agra Metro Phase 1 project’s 15.09 km Line-2 has named Larsen & Toubro (L&T) as the lowest bidder.

The contract, issued by the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC), includes the construction of the entire Agra Metro Line-2, consisting of a viaduct, 14 elevated stations, a 530m viaduct to Line-2’s Kalindi Vihar Depot, and a 2.61 km viaduct from the north of Sadar Bazar metro station to Line-1’s PAC Depot. The scope of the earlier AGCC-06 contract, which was canceled by UPMRC in October 2023, absorbs this package.
